18 Jan 2012 Bergen - Collaborative and integrated technology provider, BB Visual Group has unveiled the latest generation of its B2|Virtual Arena visual information software.
As an advanced desktop meeting tool, B2|Virtual Arena 2.0 powerfully combines audio, video and applications for sharing amongst multiple disciplines and geographic locations. This results in more productive and intuitive processes, better decisions and strategic outcomes.
"Already the number one choice for collaborative technology users in medical and oil and gas companies, we've added several exciting functionalities to our next generation B2|Arena 2.0 software", explained Magne Arne Brekke, Chairman and CEO of BB Visual Group.
An important feature is the B2|Media Server 2.0 for the routing of audio, video and application sharing media streams across any desktop PC or mobile device using the latest compression technologies. It provides real-time images and an immersive user experience, even with limited bandwidth.
All functions such as mouse and keyboard control are managed through the BBV Data Sharing Framework optimizing the shared user experience. Designed with usability in mind, the next generation software fully supports Microsoft Windows 7 and comes with an automatic computer start and launch option.
B2|Virtual Arena 2.0 can be viewed on any display, screen or projector based surface, eliminating the need for traditional hardware-based screen controllers or complex cabling or switching systems. A speaker and microphone is required at each B2|Virtual Arena 2.0 location to support audio streaming. A webcam is required to support video streaming.
"A challenge for any business is to make its important work processes, teams and assets more accessible and in an easy to understand format. The powerful features and advanced feature set of the next generation B2|Virtual Arena 2.0 software makes it the future choice of collaboration for teams and businesses", ended Magne Arne Brekke.
